Unable to add F5 devices to BIGIQ:

Issue: Unable to add F5 device to BIGIQ

Cause: System is unable to discover because of duplicate device ID.

Resolution:

  1. Login to F5 LTM
  2. Rename the new device ID as mentioned below

mv -b /config/f5-rest-device-id /config/old.f5-rest-device-id

  1. Restart the restjavadprocess to generate a new set of REST device ID files by typing the following command

tmsh restart /sys service restjavad
